The Washington Redskins have released their injury report for Week 14 against the Giants. They have already declared two players out and have listed four as questionable.

The Redskins injury woes have been well-documented over the course of the past two seasons. And once again, it seems that they are destined to finish the season with a lot of players banged up and questionable. For their game against the Giants, they are looking thin once again, especially on the offensive line.

The team has already declared a couple of key players out. On offense, right guard Tony Bergstrom is going to miss time with a high-ankle sprain suffered against the Eagles last week. He is the fourth starting guard to go down for the Redskins this season, and it’s unclear who his replacement will be. Right now, we’re anticipating that Luke Bowanko and Ty Nsekhe will get the starts at left and right guard, but we won’t be sure of that until Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, Ryan Anderson is out after suffering a hamstring injury. Anderson had been serving as the primary backup edge rusher, and now that role will likely be filled by Pernell McPhee and the recently-signed Marcus Smith. We’ll see how that goes, as McPhee is more of an edge-setting run defender while Smith is an athletic speed rusher.

In terms of questionable players, starters on both sides of the ball are hurting. The most concerning player deemed questionable is Chase Roullier. The starting center is the only player to start every game on the interior line so far, so if he can’t go, the team could be in trouble. It’s worth noting that Bergstrom was the backup center too, so Demetrius Rhaney would have to come in and start if Roullier is out.

Elsewhere, Josh Doctson (hip) is questionable. His absence would be a bit less impactful, as Mark Sanchez figures to struggle to move the ball downfield.

For the defense, Matt Ioannidis and Zach Brown are both questionable. That said, Brown is questionable due to an illness, so there’s a good chance that he will be able to play Sunday. Ioannidis is dealing with a shin injury, so his status is unknown. If he can’t go, expect to see Tim Settle get far more action in three-man fronts.

At this point, little can be done about the team’s injury issues. We’ll just have to see if the depth players can step up and help give the Redskins energy as they look to stay competitive to close the season.
