The Washington Redskins are entering a critical Week 14 battle with the New York Giants. Here are the players to watch.

Despite all the negative feelings swirling around the Redskins right now, it’s important to point out that the team still has a chance to make the playoffs. Yes, they have a ton of obstacles to overcome before that becomes a possibility, but if they can emerge victorious in Week 14 they will have a winning record again. And that will put them in the mix for a Wild Card spot at the very least — and it could put them in a first-place tie if the Eagles beat the Cowboys.

That said, the Redskins are marred in a three-game losing streak, and they are on their third string QB as well. In addition, their offensive line is banged-up. And, they’re facing a Giants team that has some of the best skill-position weapons in the NFL. So, nothing about this is easy and they will need some of their new players to step up.

With everything going on, now is Jay Gruden’s time to motivate his team and get a key December home victory. Here’s a look at five key players to watch in Redskins vs. Giants that could have a big impact on the end result of the game.
