4. Ryan Kerrigan records 2.5 sack game

Fun fact: Ryan Kerrigan has played 14 career games against the Eagles. In those 14 games, he has logged 10.5 sacks. And since his rookie year, he has only three games against them where he hasn’t logged at least half a sack.

That’s pretty good.

Kerrigan should have a chance to do some more damage against Philadelphia this week. The Eagles are dealing with some problems on their offensive line, as Jason Peters is a bit banged-up and is on the older side, and in recent weeks, Carson Wentz hasn’t looked comfortable in the pocket. That could be a recipe for success for the ‘Skins as a result.

Greg Manusky should know that the team has to attack the Eagles tackles early to get Carson Wentz out of rhythm. And while the squad has had a ton of success pressuring from the interior this season, Kerrigan is the top pass-rushing weapon for the team this week.

If Kerrigan can continually get into the backfield against the Eagles, he will have opportunities to get a few sacks. If he can get 2.5 sacks, that will do a lot to slow down the Eagles’ offense. And if it happens early in the game, that could really help the team to get the Eagles out of rhythm as some of their recent opponents have. Either way, keep an eye on Kerrigan and see what he can do in a solid matchup on Monday.
