Redskins Injury Report: Trey Quinn, Jordan Reed among eight questionable for Monday night
The Washington Redskins injury report keeps getting longer. Here’s a look at who is ailing ahead of the team’s Monday night matchup with the Eagles.
We’re at the point in the season when many NFL teams are going to have a plethora of questionable players every week. It’s just what happens at this time of the year. Small injuries tend to add up, and some players just need rest and maintenance. And for the Redskins, these issues are really starting to come to life ahead of Week 13.
Before their Monday night game against the Eagles, the Redskins have a lengthy injury report. All-told, they have eight players listed as questionable and 14 players on the report in total.
Per NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay, here’s a look at the official injury report for the team.

There are some big names on here for the Redskins, but none are more important at the moment than Jordan Reed. In recent weeks, the top tight end has become the favored target of Colt McCoy. In the event that Reed can’t suit up, Vernon Davis would step into the role. While Davis is a solid player in his own right, it’s unclear exactly what his chemistry with McCoy is like.
And on a larger scale, Reed has struggled with injury issues for his entire career. He had previously been healthy during this season, and that was an encouraging sign. If he misses time again, the injury-prone narrative will creep back into the spotlight at the end of the season.
Elsewhere on offense, Trey Quinn is surprisingly questionable after missing practice on Saturday. Usually, late-week downgrades are a bad sign, so Quinn will have to be watched closely. If he is out, Maurice Harris will see extra playing time and targets in a nice matchup.
The other questionable offensive players, Adrian Peterson, Morgan Moses, and Jamison Crowder, all have a shot to play. If any sit out, it would probably be Crowder, who hasn’t played since Week 5 with an ankle injury.
On the defensive side of the ball, it seems that both Quinton Dunbar and Matt Ioannidis are truly questionable. Dunbar is looking closer to out, as he didn’t practice all week, while Ioannidis is more of a toss-up, but he did log limited sessions each of the past two practices. So, he will at least have a chance. Dunbar will be missed against the Eagles’ high-flying offense, and if he misses the game, Carson Wentz could have a big game.
Overall, the injury report could have a big impact on this contest. We’ll know more about who is playing on Monday afternoon, but the team is pretty banged up after a mini-bye. That’s a concern, and it will be interesting to see how they respond to all these injuries.
