The Redskins are still in control of their own destiny, but with one more loss, that can change.

The Washington Redskins are in dangerous territory. For a team that’s beaten itself with avoidable errors over the last few weeks, asking for a spell of error-free football is an ambitious demand.

After starting the season 5-2, on the back of relatively error-free football, the Redskins have fallen apart in their last four games, going 1-3. And in their one win during that span, they gave up over 500 yards on defense.

Needless to say, the fact that the Redskins are in the conversation at all, at this point, can be attributed to more than a pinch of luck. It’ll take a concerted effort from both the coaches and the players to rebound, get back on track, and maybe, just maybe, ride that wave of optimism to a division title.

It all starts this week, with the Philadelphia Eagles next up. Here are five players who need to show up in that crucial contest.
