The Washington Redskins are playing the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. Here are the matchups to watch and a score prediction for the crucial contest.

For the third straight year, the Redskins are playing on Thanksgiving Day. Last year, they won at home against the Giants. This year, the task is a bit tougher.

The Cowboys are starting to gain on the ‘Skins in the race for the NFC East crown. Currently, they sit just one game back and they have won a couple of games in a row. This is a big test for them, and it’s an even bigger test for the Redskins.

In the wake of the Alex Smith injury, the Redskins need to get their offense going. They need to prove that they can stay competitive on both sides of the ball and if they can at least be competitive on the road in Dallas, that will give a lot of people more hope that the ‘Skins could emerge victorious in the crowded NFC East.
