Washington Redskins midseason mock draft and analysis

Round 7 – OG Malcolm Pridgeon – Ohio State

At 6-foot-7 and 310 pounds, Malcolm Pridgeon could actually add ten to fifteen pounds and still be an effective blocker. He’s a good rushing blocker and possesses decent pass protection skills, although he would likely need a couple of years to develop. Spending a year on the practice squad is possible.

The NFL trade deadline is less than a week away and it is unknown if the Redskins will be sellers or buyers. That could change the number of draft picks in their arsenal, but this mock is a best-guess scenario for now. When free agency opens, the additions and subtractions to the roster will also have an effect on the draft. Mocks in the fall look much different than mocks in the spring. For now, we can only speculate based on current team needs and performance to date.
