The NFL trade deadline is approaching, and the trade market is active. The Washington Redskins haven’t made a move yet, but there are some players that they could consider.

The NFL trade deadline has already been more active than normal this season. With Carlos Hyde, Amari Cooper, Eli Apple, and Damon “Snacks” Harrison all changing teams, the NFL appears to be buying into the quick rebuild philosophy.

Teams out of contention seem more willing than ever to deal players, especially ones that previous front offices and coaching staffs selected. For that reason, there should be a lot of players available, though actual deals getting done may not happen.

The Redskins are likely to be involved in trade talks at some point in the coming week. After all, they are in the lead in the NFC East with their 4-2 record and if the right upgrade is out there, they could target someone. If ever there was a time to go all-in and try to win the division, this would be it. Of course, they shouldn’t overpay for an upgrade (as the Cowboys did with the aforementioned Cooper) but they do have some positions that could be improved.

With that said, here’s a look at three players the Redskins could consider trading for ahead of the trade deadline. Obviously, nothing is guaranteed, but they should at least check on the availability of these guys.
