We want Dallas! We Want Dallas! We want Dallas! This week one of the most iconic rivalries in the NFL resumes as the Washington Redskins host the Dallas Cowboys in a week 7 match-up for early NFC East supremacy.

Coming off a potential season-saving home victory at FedEx Field last week, the Redskins welcome the Dallas Cowboys to the nation’s capital in what is sure to be an exciting match up.

This is a game that many people circled on their calendars when the 2018 schedule was released. To say that game is important is an understatement. The historical significance of this rivalry is well documented. The Cowboys have been an up and down team all season, but are hot coming off a 40-7 route at home against a popular preseason Super Bowl pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This is a golden opportunity for the Redskins to string together consecutive home victories and establish some momentum while handing a division lose to a bitter rival at the same time. Stringing together consecutive victories has not been easy in the Jay Gruden era. Division games are always must-win games, especially the home ones.

The Redskins did not win these games last year going 1-5 in the division, including getting swept by the rival Cowboys in ugly fashion. If they want 2018 to be different, here are five keys to success in Sunday’s match-up.
