The Washington Redskins are getting ready to take on the Carolina Panthers in NFL Week 6. Here’s our bold predictions for the game.

This is a critical week for the Washington Redskins. With a win, they can stay ahead in the NFC East by a half a game. A win means that they will stay over .500 and will have a chance to make life difficult for the Cowboys in Week 7. With a loss, there will be more questions about this team than answers even as they look to compete in a weaker division.

That said, the Panthers are far from a pushover. The 3-1 team is coming off a narrow victory over the Giants and they should be motivated to perform better after what was a largely disappointing effort against New York. Of course, they’re also getting one of their better defensive players, linebacker Thomas Davis, back from suspension, and Greg Olsen looks primed to return on offense. That’s going to make them even stronger as they look to keep pace with the Saints in the solid NFC South.

Because of the importance of this game for both squads, they are both going to be at their best (at least theoretically). And that means that both coaches could get aggressive and really try to lean on some of their better players to put up big stat lines. In short, some crazy things could happen.

We’re going to do our best to take a look at what those crazy things could be. Here are our bold predictions for Redskins vs. Panthers in NFL Week 6.
