The Washington Redskins are taking on the Carolina Panthers in Week 6 of the 2018 NFL season. Here’s a look at the players to watch for the Redskins in the crucial matchup.

We’re on to Carolina. That has to be the mentality for the Redskins as they prepare for Week 6. They can’t spend too much time dwelling on the mess that was the Monday night loss to the Saints, and while they should be ashamed of the performance they put on tape, they need to use it as fuel. And perhaps they will do that ahead of their matchup with the Panthers.

Carolina is one of the more solid teams in the NFC this season and though they are coming off a narrow victory against the hapless New York Giants, they can’t be underestimated. Cam Newton is a dynamic playmaker and Ron Rivera knows how to get the most out of his squad. It should be an interesting battle, but it’s one that the Redskins — as the home team — should have a chance to win.

That said, the team is going to need some players to step up in order to emerge victorious. That obviously didn’t happen last week, but this week, the script needs to flip. Here’s a look at the top five players to watch for Washington as they prepare for Week 6.
