The Washington Redskins are taking on the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 action. Here are the bold predictions for what could happen in the prime-time, Monday Night Football showdown.

The Redskins Week 5 game has the potential to be one of the most interesting ones of the NFL season. Granted, it mostly has to do with the fact that their opponents have some potential records on the line in the contest and that both teams are leading their divisions entering Week 5, but the point is that the contest could still be a crazy one that will see a lot of wild things happen.

The Saints enter the Monday Night Football matchup with a 3-1 record. Despite a disappointing loss to the Bucs early in the season, the Saints have rattled off three straight victories and their offense appears to be in great shape. They are also returning Mark Ingram to their lineup for the first time this year, as his four-game suspension is officially over.

Meanwhile, the Redskins are coming off a bye week that should leave them well-rested. And during the bye, they were able to take control of first place in the NFC East, as the Eagles and Giants dropped their Week 4 matchups. The ‘Skins will be looking to set the pace henceforth, and Monday’s contest will be their first, and also most difficult, chance to do so.

The Saints-Redskins game could be one for the ages, and it really could end up being a barn burner. With that said, let’s take a look at some bold predictions for what could happen in the contest and some of the crazy stat lines that might occur.
