No. 2 – LB Josh Harvey-Clemons

It’s a widely-known fact that the New Orleans Saints have the league’s premier dual-threat running back in Alvin Kamara. Recently, Kamara became the youngest running back to reach 1,000 career yards in both receiving and rushing.

Simply put, Kamara is a test for any defense, and he’s very hard to stop. His diverse skill set makes him a matchup nightmare, and with all the weapons the Saints have aside from him, the Redskins might not be able to pair Kamara with a defensive back on passing downs.

Thus, a significant role will be bestowed upon second-year linebacker and 2017 seventh-round pick Josh Harvey-Clemons. Clemons, with his combination of length and speed, has inherited a role as the cover man for certain running backs.

More likely than not, Clemons will get the nod on crucial downs against Kamara, and he’ll be a focal point of the defense this week. If Kamara gets rolling, then the Saints’ offense is very tough to stop.
