The Washington Redskins entered their bye week with a record of 2-1. They have gotten a solid performance from the players on their squad, but these three haven’t quite gotten enough credit for the hard work that they’ve done.

If you told Redskins fans at the start of the season that the team would enter the bye week with a record of 2-1, most would be pleased. Many would have assumed that the wins would come against the Cardinals and the Colts, but the fact that Washington was able to notch a win over the Packers was impressive. And for that reason, there is a lot of optimism surrounding the team with their early-season bye week taking place.

The Redskins have been able to post this record because of the overall performance of their team. Their defense has looked very strong to start the season and save for the game against the Colts, the offense has hummed along nicely as well. Of course, the team deserves credit for all of this, but it’s also important to note that specific players deserve some of the glory for how they have played to start the season.

While a lot of the attention will fall on the players like Adrian Peterson, Jordan Reed, and Alex Smith, there have been some more under-the-radar players who have performed at a high level to keep the Redskins competitive. They may not get as much fanfare but make no mistake. They have been a huge part in helping the team reach the bye week with a winning record.

With that said, here’s a look at three of the Redskins best under-the-radar performers in 2018.
