The Washington Redskins and the Green Bay Packers are squaring off in what’s sure to be an interesting NFL Week 3 matchup. Here’s our bold predictions for the contest.

Yesterday, we tried to set a realistic bar for what to expect in the Redskins-Packers game. Today, we’re going to get bold.

NFL Week 3 should be critical for both the Redskins and the Packers. The Redskins are coming off a disappointing home loss to the Colts that saw their offense fall flat on its face. With their early, Week 4 bye coming up, the team will certainly be looking to notch a victory and get to their break with a winning record. However, that’s not going to be easy to do against the Packers.

The Packers may have a 1-0-1 record, but they really should be 2-0 if not for a bogus roughing the passer call on Clay Matthews. Aaron Rodgers is playing on one leg, yet he’s still one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL. They will be looking to notch a road win and stay undefeated which will be critical for them as they play in a fairly tough division.

This game could be a crazy one. It might turn into an offensive show. Conversely, the defenses could step up and limit the offenses and create a surprisingly low-scoring affair. There’s no knowing what will happen this week.

With that said, we’re going to make some bold predictions about some of the crazy stat-lines and big plays that could happen in this week. Here’s a look at the five boldest predictions for Week 3.
