The Washington Redskins released their official injury report ahead of their matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Here are the most notable aspects of the report.

Last season, the Redskins injury reports would frequently have 10-15 names on them. This season has started well, and the reports are a bit shorter. Of course, it’s still early, but health isn’t as big of a problem as it was for the Redskins after Week 1 last year.

Still, there are a few banged up players on the roster and the Redskins put them on their injury report ahead of Week 2 against the Colts. They now have two questionable players, but only one is guaranteed to miss the game as of right now, per Craig Hoffman.

The most notable name on the list is Paul Richardson. The big free agent signing first appeared on the injury report on Thursday and didn’t practice Friday. Per ESPN’s John Keim, he was on the field but was in sweats and a hoodie. That would seemingly indicate that Richardson may not be able to suit up on Sunday, and even if he does, it may be a game-time call.

Behind Richardson, the Redskins still have solid receiving depth as they were able to re-sign Brian Quick to take the place of Trey Quinn and Cam Sims, who ended up on Injured Reserve with ankle injuries. Quick can step into the No. 3 receiver role or be the No. 4, depending on whether or not Maurice Harris (concussion) is able to go.

Harris has been trending in the right direction for the past couple of days. That would seemingly allow him to play, but he is still listed as questionable. Even if he plays, his role in the receiving corps would be uncertain because of Richardson’s status and Quick’s availability.

Elsewhere on the injury report, Troy Apke (hamstring) will not suit up. Apke missed part of the opener due to the soft-tissue injury and was declared out as a result. The Redskins also signed safety Kenny Ladler from the practice squad this week to provide extra depth at the position. So, that could signify that Apke may need an extra week to recover from this malady.

As for the other notable players on the injury report, Morgan Moses logged limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday, and his status right now is unclear. He toughed it out through injuries last year, so it seems possible that he will play Sunday. Every other player on the injury report has logged multiple full practices, so that should mean they are good to go against the Colts.

Overall, the injury to watch is the Richardson one, as his absence could leave them thin at receiver, and it could also mean that Jehu Chesson would suit up as the fifth wide-out, which would be interesting. Everywhere else, the Redskins seem to be relatively healthy. Here’s hoping it stays that way as the season continues on.
