The Washington Redskins are taking on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 of the 2018 NFL season. Here’s a look at the matchups the Redskins can exploit and who their best weapons will be.

Week 1 was extremely kind to the Redskins. They clearly put in a lot of preparation during camp and the offseason and were firing on all cylinders against the Cardinals as a result. This allowed them a chance to get the 24-6 victory and start the season off on the right foot.

In Week 2, the team will play their home opener and will get a chance to take on the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have Andrew Luck back at the helm, but they also have a new head coach in Frank Reich. That will be the second new coach that the Redskins are taking on in the opening two weeks of the season.

While the Cardinals were viewed as somewhat of a solid opponent, the Colts have far more holes on their roster and they’re one of the few teams league-wide that entirely depends on their QB to win games. That should give the ‘Skins the advantage — at least on paper — and it will be interesting to see whether or not the team can actually deliver and start the season 2-0.

In the game against the Colts, there will be plenty of key player matchups to watch on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. So, here’s an in-depth look at the offense and defense for both teams and a score prediction for Redskins vs. Colts in Week 2.
