The Washington Redskins completed their cut to 53 players on Saturday afternoon. Now, they will scout the waiver wire for some other potential adds.

The Redskins have made their decisions. They cut 37 men from their 90-man roster to get down to the necessary 53 for the 2018 season. It wasn’t easy and the team did have to part with a couple of fan favorites. However, they generally made the right decisions and have what appears to be a solid roster ahead of the season.

Of course, there is always room for improvement. And with over 1,800 players cut around the NFL, there is a large player pool filled with talent that the Redskins could use. If the team wants to find some upgrades at key positions, they will certainly have a chance to do that.

In the new pool of available talent, there are some solid offensive linemen, veteran safeties who could be strong backups, and a boatload of other players that could have an impact if given a chance to get on the field. The Redskins coaches and front office staff alike will be working tirelessly to identify which players they want to add to their roster. They figure to have at least one available roster spot, as Byron Marshall will be placed on the IR with a designated for return tag once Monday rolls around.

With that said, here’s a look at the positions the Redskins could be interested in on the waiver wire and who their top targets might be. We’ll start at what might be the team’s biggest weakness: the interior offensive line.
