The Washington Redskins are playing their final preseason matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Here’s a look at some bold predictions for the contest.

By now, most of us are wishing that the NFL preseason would be over. That is sensible, given that the regular season is around the corner, but keep in mind that the preseason served as a refreshing oasis after the dead months of June and July. It has been a roller coaster to say the least, as the Redskins faithful and analysts alike have had some overreactions throughout the preseason.

In the first preseason game, the second string looked so good that the Redskins were suddenly potential playoff contenders. That narrative continued into Week 2, where it seemed like their defense could be a top-five unit in the league, but their offense wasn’t great. And then came preseason Week 3, when expectations dipped to their lowest points after a horrific showing against the Broncos.

After all that, it’s still important to remember one thing. It’s just the preseason.

With one more game on the docket, against the Ravens, the Redskins will have one last chance to tune-up before the regular season. But more importantly, they will be evaluating their depth players in this contest to see which guys are really worth keeping. Some crazy things could happen in this game, and here’s a look at our five bold predictions for the end of the preseason.
