The Washington Redskins are wrapping up their preseason with a fourth and final game against the Baltimore Ravens. Here’s an in-depth look at that game featuring matchups to watch and a score prediction.

The Battle of the Beltway will be taking place on Thursday night. Normally, this would be cause for excitement, as the proximity-based rivalry between the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens has led to good contests in the past. However, there’s a major caveat to this game. It’s the fourth one of the preseason.

With just one week separating fans from real NFL action, the fourth preseason game is merely a chance for depth players to battle for roster spots. Few, if any, starters will play, and there seems to be a good chance that the Redskins will march out their third string for a good chunk of the contest. The game may be sloppy, but there will be intriguing storylines, especially from the players battling for the final few roster spots.

Of course, the unpredictable nature of coaching strategies heading into Week 4 of the preseason can make it hard to find matchups to watch. And picking a score? That’s borderline impossible. Still, we’re going to try to provide you with as much in-depth content about the final “test” before the start of the regular season and let you know a bit about the Ravens team in general.

With that said, here’s a preview for the Redskins final preseason contest on the road against the Ravens.
