The Washington Redskins are taking on the Denver Broncos in the third week of preseason action. Here’s a look at everything you need to know for Redskins vs. Broncos.

Preseason Week 3 is upon us. The most important week of the preseason. Granted, it still isn’t regular season football, but this week, we can expect the Redskins to give their starters on both sides of the ball an extended run for the first time this preseason. Alex Smith will have a lot more than six passing attempts. And maybe, Daron Payne notch more than one sack (though that would be asking a lot of him).

This week, the Redskins are taking on the Broncos, who should be a solid test for them. The Broncos have a very good defense and an offense that should be better than what the team had last season after the addition of Case Keenum as their starting quarterback. All-around, the Broncos team will test the Redskins starters, and that’s a great thing to get in the regular season tune-up.

Of course, Washington is also going to want to balance getting their starters action without getting them hurt. They’ve suffered many injuries in the early going, particularly at the running back position, so they may have a shorter leash on their starters if they play well to begin the game. Still, it seems probable that the starters will see an extended run as they get ready for Week 1.

With all of that said, it’s time to take an in-depth look at the type of matchups that are going to be seen in the Redskins vs. Broncos contest. And as an added bonus, we’ll have a score prediction, too! Without further ado, here’s a look at a full preview, including a look at the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
