This is usually the time of year where offseason hype trains start the slow, painstaking derailing process. It’s a process Redskins fans know well.

Conversely, and possibly related to the previous observation, fantasy football drafts are also on the horizon.

Fantasy football is what it sounds like. It’s not real. In no universe will Tom Brady ever throw a touchdown to Antonio Brown. And while Todd Gurley may have won your cousin’s championship for them last year, he doesn’t have a ring on his finger.

That said, many fans need fantasy football when things turn south for their team. It’s a necessary venting method, creating the facade of success. As a Washington Redskins fan, your fantasy football team needs to be perfect. Yes, the Redskins appear to be much-improved this year, even with their recent running back woes. But it doesn’t hurt to be prepared, even in a fantasy world.

A fantasy team can have all the talent in the world, but if your team name isn’t up to standard, then you won’t be winning any work pools anytime soon. As Deion Sanders once said, “you look good, you feel good, you play good”.

The name is your fantasy team’s uniform. Let’s find something that fits.
