Picks 175-178

175. Green Bay Packers (via CLE): OT Brett Toth, Army

The Packers really could use a potential packed offensive lineman who could end up being a quality swing tackle or a guard. Army’s Brett Toth is a great value at this point, as he has the 6-foot-5 size and athleticism needed to compete at tackle. Toth could push backup Jason Spriggs for the role as the primary swing man, but Toth may also be versatile enough to play guard if needed. So, he could become a nice reserve player.

176. New York Giants: CB Kameron Kelly, San Diego State

The loss of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in free agency could have an impact on the Giants, as the team lost him and Ross Cockrell in free agency. They need some depth at the cornerback position, and Kameron Kelly is a potentially solid outside player.

Kelly comes with a big 6-foot-1 frame and demonstrated really nice ball skills as a senior. He grabbed three picks, and also made 68 tackles and used his strength to take down opposing players. Kelly could become a No. 2 corner, though he has some speed limitations. If he doesn’t work at corner, he could be moves to safety to become a box guy or a hard hitting. Either way, the Giants could use his talents for their secondary.

177. Indianapolis Colts: CB Holton Hill, Texas

Even after adding Donte Jackson in the second round, the Colts could still stand to add some help in their secondary. Rashaan Melvin left in free agency, and while Quincy Wilson should get a chance to start, the team needs to add upside and depth to their roster.

Holton Hill could have a great NFL career. He declared for the draft after being suspended for the final three games of the season by the Longhorns coaching staff. Still, despite this issue, Hill has a huge 6-foot-2 frame and has speed. While he could improve his technique to stay with faster receivers, he is a good tackler with solid athleticism and decent ball skills. He could become a starter, and Chris Ballard will be happy to take him as the best player available at this juncture.

178. Seattle Seahawks (via HOU): DE Marcell Frazier, Missouri

Missouri has a history of developing good pass rushers for the NFL. Aldon Smith, Shane Ray, and Markus Golden are just a few names that the school has put in the league in recent years. And they should put another solid player in the league with Marcell Frazier. Frazier has totaled 15.5 sacks over the past two seasons, and he has nice burst off the line and good size. He should succeed as an edge rusher in a 3-4 or 4-3 defense.

The Seahawks need to add some talent at the defensive end position in wake of their loss of Michael Bennett. Cliff Avril also may retire, so the team will be without their two best pass rushers from their days as a Super Bowl contender. Frazier could develop into a fine rotational edge rusher or a starter. So adding him at this point seems like a good move.
