Orlando Brown. 32. player. 54. . Offensive Tackle. Oklahoma

The Philadelphia Eagles will need to prepare for the loss of All-Pro offensive tackle Jason Peters eventually. And because they essentially acquired an entire second team in free agency, they can afford to address that looming need here, in the NFL Draft.

See what I did there?

Orlando Brown looms above the crowd. He’s a massive spectacle, standing at 6-foot-8, 350. You would think his size would almost render him inert on the football field, but Brown had a very productive career at the University of Oklahoma.

Brown uses his length to tangle opponents and leave them spinning at the line. He’s not incredibly quick, but he has control over his movement. For defenders, Brown is very tough to pry away, and he has the strength to drive opposing edge rushers out of the pocket.

Kolton Miller is a bit more mobile than Brown, which is why he goes two slots earlier in the NFL Draft, but Brown has potential, and he could learn a lot sitting behind Jason Peters in a reserve role for a year before being thrust into the starting role in 2019.
