. Defensive Back. Alabama. Minkah Fitzpatrick. 6. player. 53

With the first overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns chose to address one of their greatest needs, and with the sixth overall pick, they do the same thing, this time picking Alabama defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick to bolster the secondary.

Fitzpatrick is everything a team could want in a defensive back. He has good size at 6-foot1, 202. He’s versatile, boasting the ability to play both cornerback and safety proficiently. He has the speed and athleticism to do both, and over his career, he’s shown a willingness to do that as well.

Fitzpatrick saw enormous amounts of success at Alabama, and in the NFL, that should only continue. Fitzpatrick eats, breathes, and sleeps football, and for the Browns, a team still in rebuild mode, they need as many of those kinds of players as they can get.
