For the last time in 2017, we have our bold predictions. Here’s some crazy things that could happen in the Redskins-Giants game this Sunday.

The end of the year is here. Today is the final day of 2017, and as is the case every New Year, it’s a time to reflect on the year that was. For the Redskins, the year will be remembered as a lost season, since they didn’t make the playoffs, but it wasn’t all bad. Despite having 20 players on IR, the team was able to field a team that was competitive in most every game this season. It was far from perfect, but it was still a step forward.

The Redskins do get to play one last game on the last day of the 2017 calendar year. They will get a chance to take on the hapless Giants, who stumbled to a brutal 2-13 record and are locked in to a very early pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. With a win over them, the Redskins could improve to 8-8 on the season and secure three straight .500 years under Jay Gruden. That will be a huge coup for the head coach, whose hot seat appears to be fully cooled.

With that said, this final game will be unpredictable. There’s no knowing how long the starter will play and there’s no knowing what will happen with the strange amalgamation of depth players the Giants are throwing into action. This game could be crazy and our predictions are equally as crazy. Here’s a look at our final five bold predictions for the 2017 season.
