The Washington Redskins will have to do a lot to beat the Denver Broncos in Week 16. Here’s a look at the top matchups to watch.

The Washington Redskins have just two games left in the 2017 season, but the best one left is their Week 16 matchup with the Denver Broncos. The Broncos record isn’t good this season, they’re coming in at 5-9, but they have more talent than their record indicates.

The Broncos have a well-built defense that features some of the NFL’s best players in it. Their real problem has come at the quarterback position. They have marched out three different starters this year and none have been particularly successful. Couple that with the mediocre offensive line play they’ve had this season and that’s a recipe for a sub-.500 record.

If this ends up being a defensive battle, the Redskins are going to have to do a lot to beat the Broncos. If it’s a shootout, Washington will have a big advantage. With that said, here’s a look at the key matchups to watch in Week 16 as the Redskins take on the Broncos.
