The Washington Redskins have a conundrum to deal with at inside linebacker. Their top three players at the position are hitting free agency.

Free agency is drawing nearer and nearer for NFL teams. In just a week and a half, the Redskins 2017 season will be over. The calendar will turn to 2018 shortly after that and there will then be just two months to free agency. But before that, there’s plenty of time for speculation, rumors, and important acquisitions to talk about.

The Redskins are going to have quite a few players hit the open market this offseason, and one of the most interesting positions to watch will be the inside linebacker position. This year, the team has their top three players at the position hitting unrestricted free agency. All three are still on the right side of 30, so it is going to be difficult for the team to retain the trio.

At the same time, it’s not easy to figure out who would be most likely to re-sign with the team. Each player is at a very different point in their career and each has a different skill set that will be valuable to certain NFL teams, including the Redskins. With that said, here’s a closer look at the Redskins free agent inside linebackers and where they could end up.
