It wasn’t pretty, but the Washington Redskins improved to 6-8 after their victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Here’s how they won.

The Washington Redskins didn’t play a perfect game on Sunday. In fact, it was far from perfect. At times, their offense was completely sloppy and lacked precision on a lot of their plays. There were some questionable play calls as always, none more so than Josh Doctson’s disaster of an end around, but at the end of the day, the Redskins escaped the game with a 20-15 victory.

On the final Cardinals drive of the game, the team had a chance to win the game. The Redskins defense stepped up and bailed out the offense for their inability to run out the clock. The defensive effort in this contest was strong, and they definitely deserve some praise for how they played.

With that said, it’s time to take an in-depth look on everything that happened in the game. We’ll look at everything from the passing game to the defensive performance to the biggest coaching gaffes. Here’s a look at this week’s Redskins Breakdown.
