The Washington Redskins were badly defeated by the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14 of the 2017 NFL season. Here’s the breakdown for the game.

The Redskins were completely demolished by the Chargers on Sunday afternoon. There’s no two ways about it. Playing in L.A. for the second time this year and coming in on 10 days of rest, the Redskins were completely flat. Their defense allowed the Chargers to move the ball at will and by the end of the day, they found themselves on the wrong end of a lopsided 30-13 contest.

This was yet another game in the myriad of disappointments that the Redskins have suffered this season. Jay Gruden and company looked completely disinterested at times and it’s now clear that this 5-8 Redskins squad is planning for next season. While losing at this point may be better for the team’s future, as it ensures a higher drat pick, it still doesn’t excuse the lack of effort put forth on Sunday afternoon.

With all that said, it’s time to take an in-depth look at the team’s performance in Los Angeles. This won’t be pretty, but here’s the Redskins Breakdown for Week 14.
