The Washington Redskins have a very winnable home game on Thanksgiving this year. Here are the keys to victory for their matchup with the Giants.

Week 12 is a very important one for the Washington Redskins. It’s a season defining moment. A loss means that the team will definitely be heading into the final month of the season with little to play for. A 4-7 record would practically guarantee elimination from playoff contention and they can’t afford to have that happen.

However, a win would bring the team to 5-6. That would give them a glimmer of hope in remaining alive in the postseason race, though the NFC Wild Card is a logjam of solid teams at the moment. Fending off the likes of Atlanta, Seattle, and Dallas for the No. 6 seed wouldn’t be easy, but it would still be a possibility with a win.

The Giants are not a very tough team. Granted they are coming off their best performance of the year against the Kansas City Chiefs, but that was last week. They may have a tougher time this week coming off an emotional, overtime win, especially on the road in a short week.

With that said, a Redskins win seems like a strong possibility. And here’s how they can accomplish that. With our three keys to victory.
