2. Kirk Cousins turns the ball over 3 times

The Seahawks defense isn’t quite as good as it was during the Legion of Boom days. Richard Sherman has slightly regressed and the cornerbacks have been a bit of an issue at times for the team. Still, they are a very strong defensive unit and wreak havoc whenever given the opportunity.

On Sunday, they will have a very strong chance to do that. Given the state of the Washington o-line and the lack of production the team has gotten out their receivers, this seems like a prime opportunity for the Seahawks to have a signature game. And their primary way of doing this will be to wear out Kirk Cousins.

Cousins is going to be in a difficult position this week. He is expected to lead his team to victory, but the team is so banged up on offense. He will continue to get little support and he may have to force the ball downfield on a couple of occasions. That is a recipe for disaster against this defense.

Cousins is going to be facing pressure and throwing the ball downfield a lot. That is going to give the Seahawks a chance to make a lot of plays. It would be surprising if they didn’t force multiple turnovers in this game. Cousins seems likely to give the ball away a lot in this contest, and three seems like a logical number. There’s not much he can do about it. He just doesn’t have the support necessary to succeed against the Seahawks defense right now.
