3 Players the Redskins should consider dealing for before trade deadline
The Washington Redskins have some holes on their roster. They should look into acquiring these three players before Tuesday’s trade deadline.
Every year, the NFL trade deadline comes and goes with very little fanfare. Trades are less common in the NFL than they are in any other league given the way that rosters are constructed. Still, a couple of teams usually end up making deals, and there are always rumors about other players that could be moved.
The Redskins haven’t historically been big movers at the deadline. They just aren’t big midseason traders and, like many NFL teams, like to make most of their moves during the offseason. However, if there was ever a year to change that approach, this could be the one.
With so many injuries taking their toll on each side of the ball, the Redskins need to add depth to the team in any way possible. Sure, it may not be ideal to sacrifice any draft resources to acquire players, but sometimes it’s necessary. This year, there appears to be some solid players on the market, and the Redskins are going to be interested in them.
There are no guarantees, and the Redskins well could decide not to make a move. But if they do, here’s a few guys that they should look into getting.
