The Washington Redskins released their official injury report for this Monday on Saturday afternoon. Josh Norman is one of the players who was declared out.

The Washington Redskins have been plagued with injuries over the course of the past couple weeks. After only losing a couple of players to Injured Reserve in the early going of the season, they lost Jonathan Allen and Dustin Hopkins in just the past week. That was on top of the already existing injuries that were plaguing their team.

Heading into the Week 7 matchup against the Eagles, the Redskins are dealing with some key injuries. Per their injury report, they have already declared three players out. Tyler Catalina, Ty Nsekhe, and Josh Norman. Obviously, the absence of Norman is the biggest note for the team as they will have to survive another week without him.

Norman is still dealing with the effects of a rib injury he suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs a few weeks ago. On the play, Norman suffered a rib fracture that did minor damage to his lung. He had logged a couple of limited practices leading up to this game, but he didn’t practice Saturday before being declared out.

In his stead, the Redskins will continue to roll with Quinton Dunbar as a starter. Dunbar was magnificent against the 49ers last week, and he was able to shut down his opposition for the most part. However, the Eagles have a much better offense, so he may not quite be as effective as he was last week.

Aside from Norman’s injury, the Redskins do have a couple more questionable defensive backs. Bashaud Breeland and Deshazor Everett are both on the injury report as well. The duo has logged limited performances all week, but there’s no knowing if either will be healthy enough to play. However, the Redskins have not yet made a move to acquire an additional defensive back, so it seems likely that one or both may suit up, unless they make a late roster move on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Trent Williams and Rob Kelley are both listed as questionable, but they are likely to suit up. Williams is still dealing with a balky knee, he won’t sit out with Nsekhe definitively out. The Redskins need him on the field, so he’ll be there. Meanwhile, Kelley is set to make his return and handle a bulk of the carries against the Eagles. Kelley struggled in Week 1 against Philadelphia, but he is definitely the team’s best between the tackles runner right now.
