The Washington Redskins are taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4 of the NFL season. We caught up with some Chiefs experts to talk about their team.

The Washington Redskins have an important week ahead of them. Before the bye week, they are taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in a Monday night matchup. It’s a primetime game on the road in one of the toughest stadiums in the NFL. The Redskins are going to do a lot to beat the Chiefs, but it’s within the realm of possibility.

To take a look at our opponent, we talked to Matt Conner from Arrowhead Addict and asked him some questions about the Chiefs. Here’s what he said to our answers.

Riggo’s Rag: What will the Chiefs need to do in order to stay undefeated at home?

Arrowhead Addict: So far, it’s hard to say. They’ve lost their best overall defensive player in Eric Berry and are averaging 12 points more than their opponents. They lost Jeremy Maclin and Jamaal Charles for nothing and are leading the league in yards per play. Here’s the craziest part: they’ve given up 301 yards in penalties this year, most in the NFL.

So you’re asking about a team that is dominating on both sides of the ball that is also making serious miscues and has plenty of areas in which they can grow and become more disciplined. That’s a scary proposition for anyone. The defense isn’t forcing takeaways on the scale they did last year and special teams, the Chiefs calling card over the last few years, has looked pitiful in the first three games.

At this point, it’s just about the Chiefs not having a total meltdown. Or maybe Washington can uncover some crazy weakness. Suffice it to say, most of us here think the Chiefs are going to be just fine on Monday.

RR: How will the Redskins be able to win on the road?

AA: You need a lockdown safety on Travis Kelce. One who just never lets up regardless of the size/athleticism mismatch he creates with most. You need Josh Norman to take Tyreek Hill completely out of the game. Then you need Jonathan Allen and the rest of the box to not only be as sure-handed as ever when tackling but push the pocket as well.

No one has been able to stop the Chiefs offense yet, but it’s not to say it can’t be done. In fact, I think there are a few teams that match up well but the Chiefs just haven’t faced them yet. It will be interesting to see if Washington can be that team. Defensively there are holes here if Cousins stays away from Marcus Peters and can create mismatches against Terrance Mitchell or finding Dee Ford in coverage.

RR: What is your final score prediction?

AA: I think the Chiefs will look vulnerable on some drives, but overall the talent and coaching staff are simply too good. My bet is KC 24, WAS 13
