The Washington Redskins have a chance to get a winning record in Week 3. But first, they’ll have to go through the Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders are one of the toughest offensive units in the NFL. Led by Derek Carr, the Raiders passing attack is one of the best in the league. Carr and company have been able to surgically pick apart opposing defenses and they will look to do that once again on Sunday night against the Redskins.

While the Raiders are led by a strong passing attack, the Redskins do have a relatively strong pass defense led by cornerback Josh Norman. The second year Redskin has been terrific as a top corner and his partner in crime, Bashaud Breeland, has stepped up after a bad 2016 campaign. The duo will be tested, but the Redskins will have a chance to win.

This game has the potential to be a high scoring one, given the porous nature of the Raiders defense. If the Redskins can exploit the proper matchups, they will have a chance to stay competitive with the tough AFC West squad, especially considering that this is a home game for them.

But in order to be sure of our assumptions about the Raiders, we caught up with Raiders expert John Buhler from Just Blog Baby to learn everything there is about the team from Oakland. Without further ado, here’s what John said in response to our questions.
