Round 5, Pick 10

Will Pick: S Tedric Thompson, Colorado

Still available in early round five, Tedric Thompson goes from being a dark horse to an actual pick. Over the course of the past three years, Thompson has logged 13 interceptions, including a whopping seven in 2016. He could start his career as a backup, but could eventually earn a starting job. Reuniting him and Witherspoon could be a good move, and it should be fun to watch them develop.

Should Pick: S Lorenzo Jerome, Saint Francis

There was no bigger playmaker in the Senior Bowl than Lorenzo Jerome of Saint Francis. He was all over the field and held his own against what was supposedly a higher level of competition. I have Jerome slightly higher on my prospects list than Thompson, so this was a tough selection to make. Both make sense for the team, but Jerome has aa bit more upside.

Dark Horse: WR Chad Williams, Grambling

The Redskins have still not added a receiver in this draft. They could change that by taking the little-known Chad Williams here. Williams had an excellent Senior Bowl and could be picked in this range. The Redskins will certainly consider taking him at this juncture.
