The NFL schedule was released on Thursday night. Here is a look at the month-by-month outlook for the Washington Redskins.

Every year, the NFL schedule release gets a lot of hype. It is the first time where people actually get a look at the upcoming football season. With draft season set to end soon, the only thing that fans will have to look forward to is the season. In 2017, it could be a tough one for the Washington Redskins.

The Redskins have a solid team, but they just barely missed the playoffs in 2016. They have some unproven players and still need to fix some of their weaknesses in the 2017 NFL Draft. In order to be guaranteed success, they needed to have a favorable schedule. They did not necessarily get that.

Though the early months are easier on the team, the later months could derail their success. If they are not hot at the start of the season, it may be hard for them to climb out of any hole that they dig. With that in mind, here is a month-by-month look at what the Redskins schedule is going to be.
