It looks like Washington Redskins fans have had enough. Let the protests begin.

There’s a “March on Ashburn” scheduled for Friday, March 10 at Redskins Park and plans to last into the weekend. Washington Redskins fans aren’t playing around either.  According the event’s Facebook Page, 191 people are planning to attend the event with 574 interested (as per the time of this post).

The group hosting the event, Protest at Redskins Park, posted the following reasons as to why this is happening:

"Peacefully protesting at Redskins Park to let Snyder and Allen know that the fans are fed up with them running our beloved franchise into the ground. To let them know that they aren’t going to succeed in selling fans false hope anymore. Fire Bruce Allen. Let Scot do his job."

There are no confirmed reports as of yet if the Redskins are aware of this protest and if they care.  Nonetheless, the protest will serve as a reminder that Redskins fans are devoted to seeing their team succeed, even if that means having a “family meeting” about the matter.  The Redskins have had one of the most chaotic off season environments in recent history.

As of today, the Redskins welcomed St. Louis Cardinals FS D.J. Swearinger and Oakland Raiders DE Stacy McGee to the team.  It’s looking like business as usual at Redskins Park amid all the turmoil.  Washington Redskins fans have a lot to protest about. It’s a long time coming.
