Week 5 – Oct. 9 – 1:00pm – Redskins at Ravens
Looking at this one at a glance and one might think the Ravens would be the clear favorite at home. But fortunes reversed for both teams last season. It was the Redskins who ascended to being a playoff team and the Ravens fell from a perennial playoff team to being a bottom feeder.
However, I expect the Ravens to be a much improved team in 2016 so the Redskins will have a battle on their hands here. The coaches Jay Gruden and John Harbaugh don’t like each other. There also is a rivalry brewing between the teams as they are in close proximity to one another and they both play in Maryland.
In the end I think the Ravens will take this one in a close one at home.
Prediction – Ravens win
Redskins Record – (3-2)
