16.  Noah Spence, OLB – Eastern Kentucky: (6-3, 254) Projected Round – 1st. Spence is one of the best pass rushers in the draft but the Redskins aren’t desperate for an outside linebacker early in the draft, especially with the emergence of Preston Smith.  However, if other top targets are off the board already the Redskins might be inclined to add another pass rusher to their defense.    LW #9

15.  Vernon Butler, DT – Louisiana Tech: (6-4, 325) Projected Round – 1st-2nd. Vernon Butler is massive and a terror to deal with for centers and interior offensive linemen.  Butler is quick off the ball and can push centers into the backfield.  He also can collapse the pocket on passing downs.  The Redskins need a defensive linemen who can consistently command a double team.  Vernon Butler is that man.  LW #15
