As we saw this last season, the Rams simply can’t rely on Nick Foles as their starting quarterback. He was a serious letdown in the starting role, which now creates a significant need under center that Los Angeles must address in the next couple of months.
The Rams could take their chances with hoping that a quality quarterback falls to them in the draft, or they could find a veteran option to take the reins of the offense. As you probably guessed by now, Griffin fits the bill as a legitimate candidate to take over as the starter for Los Angeles. A healthy RG3 couldn’t possibly be worse than Foles.
Owner Stan Kroenke knows that he needs a new face of the franchise with the team making the move to Los Angeles. Why not go out and grab a proven playmaker whose personality and brand would certainly shine under the bright Hollywood lights?
