The Cowboys have tried to fill the backup position behind Romo over the past few seasons but the experiments of Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel have not been successful. <p>The Cowboys could trade down and get a quarterback later in the first round but there’s no guarantee that a quarterback like Carson Wentz will be on the board to where they trade down. So they would need to take him at number four.</p> <p>Sure Joey Bosa would be on the board but the Cowboys might not have another shot to get a legitimate franchise quarterback prospect any time soon.
