Another week, another 2016 NFL Draft mock for your Washington Redskins. And another opportunity to see just how much damage the ‘Skins can do with their eight picks when April 30 rolls around.

As usual, I took the approach of upgrading the defense in hopes of following the same equation that the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers used to earn a trip to the Super Bowl. Defenses win championships, and the Redskins had a pretty bad one in 2015. So why not make some improvements?

Obviously I took team needs into account, and looked for some more playmakers on the offensive side of the ball as well. I tried to implement the BPA (Best Player Available) philosophy as often as possible, which led to an outstanding haul (in my opinion) for D.C.

Without further ado, here’s my latest seven-round Redskins mock draft. Remember, I used Fanspeak’s On the Clock simulator, so I’m simply going off of which players are on the board when the Redskins are “on the clock.” If you’re curious, here’s the 4.0 version of my mock draft.
