Predicting 5 Players the Redskins Will Release This Offseason
All around the NFL, players have been getting the ax as their teams look to clear cap space and prepare for what should be an eventful free agency period on March 9. Sooner rather than later, the Washington Redskins will be making the same types of moves.
So which Redskins will suffer the same fate as players such as Chris Long, Joique Bell and Paul Soliai? There are a number of options, but some certainly stand out above the others. In particular, I have five players in mind who probably won’t be on the roster when free agency rolls around. That’s why I’ve put together this list–to highlight the folks who may get cut in the next couple of weeks.
The majority of these players are on notice due to their large salary figures, but a couple could also be cut due to poor play this past season. I mean, why pay someone millions of dollars to be a nuisance?

So here they are–the five players most likely to be cut this offseason. The NFL is a business, and the Redskins have to make unpopular decisions in order to stay competitive.
