Offensive Tackle. Notre Dame. Ronnie Stanley. 6. player. 26.
The Ravens are another team that desperately needs help along the offensive line this offseason. Their front five was demolished time and time again in 2015, leading to the eventual injury of starting quarterback Joe Flacco. Breakout running back Justin Forsett also couldn’t get it going, finding his way onto the Injured Reserve list as well. Suffice it to say, the Baltimore offensive playmakers need more protection in 2016.

That’s why it’s very easy to see Stanley going to Baltimore at No. 6. The Notre Dame product has spent his entire collegiate career dominating opposing defensive linemen, showing excellent balance, strength and agility at his left tackle position. Based on the film, there’s little evidence that goes against him developing into an outstanding blindside blocker at the next level.

The Ravens have a solid left tackle in Eugene Monroe, but he ended last season on IR with a shoulder injury. Baltimore’s other tackles, James Hurst and Ricky Wagner, struggled mightily throughout the 2016 season, so bringing in an upgrade like Stanley makes too much sense. I’m sure Flacco and Forsett would be very happy to see some new blood added along the offensive front.
