Shon Coleman. 31. player. 45.
No matter who their starting quarterback is next season, the Broncos need to do a better job of protecting them. Whether it’s Peyton Manning, Brock Osweiler or someone else, Denver simply can’t afford to field such a poor offensive line. That’s why spending a first-round pick on an offensive tackle makes plenty of sense in this situation.

Drafting Coleman seems like a solid option here, in my opinion. The Broncos have a lot of uncertainty at offensive tackle heading into 2016 with Ryan Harris and Tyler Polumbus set to be free agents. Ryan Clady is coming off of another season ruined by injury, and Ty Sambrailo got dominated as a rookie. It wasn’t a promising showing from any of their tackles, so an upgrade seems fairly necessary.

Coleman will need to pass health checks after being away from the game for three years due to cancer. However, there’s no doubt he’s a driven, high-character player who deserves an opportunity to prove his worth at the next level. He’s big, aggressive and could step in on Day 1 and push for a starting job along Denver’s patchwork offensive line.
. Offensive Tackle. Auburn
