player. 87.
I couldn’t believe it when the Panthers spurned the offensive line this past April and selected a linebacker in the first round. It seemed asinine to me, especially considering the lackluster amount of talent they had along the front five. Despite my concerns, the Carolina offensive line excelled at opening running lanes and protecting Cam Newton–they made it to the Super Bowl, after all.

So instead of adding talent up front, I think the Panthers will look to add even more weapons to Newton’s arsenal this offseason. They’ll have Kelvin Benjamin back in 2016, and Devin Funchess should be ready for a breakout season after getting off to a slow start as a rookie in 2015. Corey Brown is a capable backup, but shouldn’t be relied upon as an every-down option.

That’s where Fuller comes in. Teamed with Benjamin and Funchess, he’d help create one of the most dangerous receiving trios in the NFL. While the other two intimidate defenses with their size and physicality, Fuller brings the speed and acceleration to take the top off of the defense. Add Greg Olsen to the mix, and you’ve got another serious Super Bowl contender.

Maybe drafting Fuller will make Newton smile after his poor showing after the Super Bowl loss.
. Wide Receiver. Notre Dame. Will Fuller. 30
