Six positions Redskins must address in free agency

The Washington Redskins had a big season in 2015.  They posted a 9-7 record and won the NFC East for the first time since 2012.  However, even though the Skins had a lot of success the fact is they also have a lot of needs that still need to be addressed if their success is to be sustained.

General Manager Scot McCloughan places a huge emphasis on the acquiring talent through the NFL Draft.  However, he’s stated that the Redskins will not be big players in free agency but they will look to sign players who will put the team over themselves as individuals.

So yes the Redskins will emphasize the draft and McCloughan will undoubtedly have success doing so.  Much like he did with the 2015 draft.  But the draft can’t address every need the Redskins have, so they still need to acquire talent through free agency as well.

Here are six positions the Redskins need to look to address in free agency:  Running back, wide receiver, inside linebacker, cornerback and backup quarterback.
