3.  Jake Coker, QB

Alabama (South Team) – (6-4, 232) Projected Round – 3rd– Jersey # 14

Jake Coker just got through leading Alabama to another national championship and he was impressive in that game.  Coker led Alabama from behind for the win and threw for 335 yards and 2 touchdowns.

At 6’5, 232 he has great size and he also has surprisingly good mobility for such a big quarterback.  Coker struggled as the Alabama starter early in the season as he didn’t really have a lot of experience as a starter having transferred from Florida State.

However, when Coker got his feet under him he began to turn into a quality starter.  Of course he had a lot of talent around him at Alabama but Jake Coker has the skill set to be at least a good backup in the NFL and that’s something that the Redskins will be looking for.
